After searching for more value for money in a drink bottle I came across this one.
A Brisbane based company. Which means fast shipping. 3 days to outback Queensland ✅️. I've been using this drink bottle for 3 weeks now in a hot summer. Leaving the bottle in the sun is not ideal, however the cold water inside was very welcoming ✅️. No leaking even after bouncing around the box on my motor bike. ✅️. I purchased the pouring lid at the same time so I would have hot water for a cuppa and when I'm out night riding. No worries at all. After 9 hrs the water is not boiling hot but hot enough to enjoy a coffee ✅️. I also brought a silicone sleeve (which was already attached to the bottle when I received it. Thank-you).✅️. A very handy accessory as not only does it stop the bottle sliding when placed on a slippery surface but it also stop dents from minor falls ✅️✅️.
The chug lid is great to. Not to big like some but a good size so you don't drink to fast and get bloated. This makes your water last longer as I tended not to drink to much.✅️. The integrated carry handle is a little small for my big hands but it is easy enough to still use. If I'm out walking around i use a lanyard with a fast clip and carry the bottle using my shoulder. The handle itself is strong and the hinge seams to be up to the job✅️.
Even though the 1.9 L bottle is big to carry around, i find it easier that carrying 2 smaller bottles. Being stainless steel makes cleaning a breeze. A bit of hot water with a few drops of dish washing detergent, **** the lid on & shake, empty then rinse the same way. Wipe the silicone seal inside the lid and that's it✅️
I haven't tried soup in it yet, that's for winter, but I reckon it will be great.
