12 Month Internal Structure Limited Warranty Summary

Limited Warranty Coverage: This limited warranty covers stainless steel drinkware: including water/drink bottles, travel cups, and can/bottle coolers, for a period of 12 months. It addresses issues related to vacuum insulation, leaking problems, and internal defects.

Exclusions: User-inflicted damages such as accidental or intentional damage, improper washing, scratches, marks, dents, or any other damages not stemming from material or workmanship defects are not covered. Additionally, failures of vacuum insulation due to dishwasher use and accessories like lids are excluded.

Liability and Compliance: Solkatt Designs complies with Australian Consumer Protection Laws, including the Australian Consumer Law. The company is not liable for damages caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence.

Claim Process: To initiate a limited warranty claim, contact Solkatt Designs at sales@solkattdesigns.com. A customer care representative will respond within 2-3 business days with instructions. The faulty item will be assessed, and if necessary, a replacement will be arranged.

Replacements and Alternatives: This limited warranty provides a replacement free of charge. If the requested colour or size is unavailable, customers can choose a different option or opt for store credit, up to the original purchase amount based on the full Recommended Retail Price (RRP) at the time of purchase.

Additional Information: Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims. Modifications to the structural integrity of the drinkware will void the warranty. For personalised items, coverage will be assessed case-by-case. Solkatt Designs will provide a prepaid satchel for returns and cover the cost of shipping for replacements.

Exclusions:

  • User Damage:

    • Accidental or Intentional Damage
    • Improper Washing and Cleaning
    • Scratches, Marks, Dents, or Dings
    • Other damages not resulting from defects in material or workmanship

  • Specific Conditions Not Covered:

    • Failures of the Vacuum Insulation due to Dishwasher Use
      • There are sufficient warnings regarding this on the packaging and on the product pages.
      • This is fully covered under our Refunds and Returns policy.
    • Lids or Accessories

Liability:

  • Solkatt Designs and all subsidiaries is not liable for user damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Exposure to extreme temperatures
    • Using the product for purposes other than its intended use
    • Attempting unauthorised repairs or modifications
    • Damage from drops or impacts

How to Claim:

  1. Initiate Limited Warranty Claim:
    • Please contact us at sales@solkattdesigns.com to initiate your limited warranty claim.
  2. Customer Care Response:
    • One of our customer care representatives will be in contact within 2-3 business days, sometimes sooner, with instructions on how to return your faulty item.
  3. Assessment and Outcome:
    • We will assess the item and follow up with you regarding the outcome.
    • If deemed necessary, we will organise the delivery of a replacement.
  4. Availability of Replacements:
    • Please note that item styles (colour, style, or size) may be sold out or no longer available.
    • We will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement as close as possible to your original item and will keep you updated throughout the process.

Additional Information:

  • Your 12 months limited warranty period begins from the day of delivery. Proof of purchase is required under the internal structures limited warranty.
  • Modifying the structural integrity of any of the water/drink bottles, travel cups, or can/bottle coolers will void this limited warranty.
  • For items that have been personalised (e.g., laser engraving), they will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
    • If the engraving has been done correctly and by a professional, and our faults team can confirm that this is not a cause for the item to fail, your item will still be covered by this limited warranty.
  • Solkatt Designs will send you a prepaid satchel to send your item back and cover the cost of shipping for your replacement.
