The Mythical Creatures Collection begins with original artwork by Shinta, a Brisbane designer, created exclusively for Solkatt Designs.

Rather than taking one illustration and repeating it across an entire range, each creature has been developed through a series of individual yet coordinating artworks. Different poses, compositions and scenes allow every piece to have its own character while still belonging unmistakably to the same collection.

Each finished piece is then handmade in Australia by Solkatt Designs, bringing Shinta's original artwork to a collection of practical homewares designed to be seen, used and enjoyed every day.

The collection includes ceramic sandstone coaster sets, coffee mugs, glass cutting boards and wooden placemats, with each product carrying a different part of its creature's story.
