Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

This policy applies to Australia & New Zealand

1. Faulty or Damaged Products – 30-Day Returns & Exchanges

We offer a 30-day return/exchange period for items that are faulty or damaged.

  • The item must be unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (invoice/order number) is required.
  • The 30 days start from the date your goods are delivered.

How to return or exchange:

  1. Send photos or a video of the faulty or damaged item to sales@solkattdesigns.com.
  2. A customer care representative will respond within 1–3 business days with instructions.
  3. Once the item is assessed, we will arrange a replacement if required.

2. 12-Month Limited Warranty – Stainless Steel Drinkware

We offer a 12-month limited warranty on our stainless steel drinkware, including water bottles, travel cups, and can/bottle coolers. This covers:

  • Vacuum seal insulation to keep drinks hot or cold
  • Structural integrity to ensure the body remains leak-proof and durable

Lids are covered under a 90-day warranty for structural issues. This warranty does not cover user error, drops, dents, scratches, improper cleaning, or misuse. For full details, please visit our 12-Month Limited Warranty page.

3. Warranty Coverage for Other Products

This covers all Solkatt Designs products for defects in materials or workmanship, excluding user-inflicted damage.

  • Products covered: This covers all of our products.
  • Issues covered: Material or workmanship defects affecting functionality and damages sustained during delivery.

4. Exclusions – User Damage

  • Accidental or intentional damage
  • Improper washing or cleaning
  • Scratches, marks, dents, or dings
  • Other damages not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship
  • Modifications to the structural integrity of the product

5. Liability & Compliance

Solkatt Designs and its subsidiaries are not liable for damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence, including:

  • Exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Use for purposes other than intended
  • Attempting unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Damage from drops or impacts

This warranty complies with Australian Consumer Protection Laws, including the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Replacements & Alternatives

  • This warranty provides a replacement free of charge for eligible items.
  • If the original style, colour, or size is unavailable, customers may choose a different option or store credit, up to the original purchase price (RRP at the time of purchase).
  • Solkatt Designs provides a prepaid shipping label for returns and covers the shipping cost for replacements.

7. Refunds

If a refund is applicable instead of an exchange:

  • We will notify you once the return is received and inspected.
  • If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process the refund.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact sales@solkattdesigns.com
  • Original shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.

8. Change of Mind

We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Sale items and gift cards are also excluded from returns.

9. Packaging Terms & Conditions

  1. We package items carefully to ensure safe delivery.
  2. We cannot control courier handling once the package is in transit.
  3. Report any damage during transit immediately for assessment and assistance.
  4. Damage to gift boxes, especially decanter boxes, is beyond our control.
  5. Disputes about packaging must be addressed with Australia Post.
  6. Solkatt Designs is not liable for gift box damage during transit.
  7. These terms may be amended without notice and are governed by the laws of our business jurisdiction.
